Dr. Har Swaroop Sharma

Dr. Har Swarup Sharma was born on 01.01.1923 in Kursanda village (Distt.Mathura) in the family of Sh. Umrao Singh Sharma, Nambardar. He stood first division in High School Examination (10Th class). After 10Th class he was admitted in Agra College, Agra for further studies. In 1948 he passed M.A in Mathematics and secured highest marks .He got 1st. division with first position in Agra University, Agra. He was appointed as Assistant professor in Agra College, Agra in 1948. He was awarded with PhD degree in 1965. He was promoted as Head of the department of Mathematics in 1972 and retired in 1983. He wrote more than 150 text books of Mathematics from 9Th class to post graduation classes. Some of books were very popular in abroad also and still are being taught. This community is to interact between members of Dr. Har Swaroop Sharma’s family.
